PRODUCT DESIGN PORTFOLIO

BLENDING FORM
THE BRIEF
Some of the most successful design business are creative duos. Working in collaboration with a partner or a small team can provide the opportunity to create unique work that blends two individual perspectives into stronger cohesive ideas. Take a look at Barber & Ogersby, Charles & Ray Eames, Sam Hecht & Kim Colin, Ken Carbone & Leslie Smolan. Working in pairs, you will create a range of decorative objects for the home exploring your individual design philosophies and blending these together to form a range of decorative, domestic products.

Working with Anna, we quickly established design styles we were both influenced by. We decided to create a range of kitchen products inspired by modern Memphis and a Scandinavian style.

Our chosen styles allowed us to create a chic range of products focusing on different materials. The wooden panels were taken from the Scandi style and the bright and bold colours and shapes from the Memphis look. The final products surprisingly link in with the Bauhaus style.
